New Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin Trailer
Realms of Ruin lets players personalize their experience with the game. With the Maps Editor, players will use similar tools as the developers to create multiplayer maps for the game, creating their own battlegrounds in the savage Realm of Ghur. From painting and shaping the terrain to placing objectives, foliage, water, and gameplay, players will be able to create their ideal battlefield and then enjoy it in dedicated online multiplayer matches. They can also share their creations through in-game cross-platform Workshops, where the community can download, play, and rate their maps.
Meanwhile, Army Livery allows players to customize the color palette used as they play each of the four factions in the game, using paints from Games Workshop’s Citadel collection. In addition to player-created palettes, the game will feature official Games Workshop paint schemes. Whether tabletop game fans want to play the Hallowed Knights or the Big Yellers, Army Livery underscores Frontier’s efforts to create the most authentic game possible. Players can create palettes for entire factions, or even create color schemes for individual units.
With the Scene Editor, players can create stunning dioramas to share with the community, featuring characters in curated and shareable footage of battles for Ghur. Customize individual animation frames to get every detail just right, and display custom units from Army Livery for an extra personal touch. Players can tweak the visual settings to their liking, and then capture the perfect image to share with the world.
All Features Available to Enhance Player Experience
The Maps Editor, ArmyLivery, and Scene Editor are available on all game versions and platforms, and players can create maps with a mouse keyboard or controller. These additional features underscore Frontier’s commitment to delivering the definitive Warhammer Age of Sigmar RTS experience.
One more Age of Sigmar faction has yet to be announced for the game, joining the mighty Stormcast Eternals, the brutal Orruk Kruleboyz, and the spectral Nighthaunt horde – more details will be revealed before launch.
