The Sims 4 Is Ready To Be A Free-to-Play Game, DLC Still Paid

Do you still remember this legendary franchise published by EA Games ? After a long time not providing the latest news, today a special news came from the old game, The Sims 4. Although it is still quite popular among console users, The Sims 4 is definitely ready to become a Free-to-Play game. What interesting content will they bring? Let’s jump up with the latest gaming news from gamedaim.

Released in 2014, The Sims 4 is a popular life simulation game for casual gamers. This is evidenced by the total sales of the game which has reached 31 million copies since its launch. Even though The Sims 4 is a game that is quite old, EA Games is still consistent in providing support for the latest content in this game, unfortunately, because updates that continue to have problems have recently received bad reviews.

EA Will Re-release The Sims 4 As A Free-to-Play Game

In a report we received via his official blog page, Maxis as the developer of this game plans to re-release The Sims 4 as a Free-to-Play game. As you can see, this free version has been targeted to launch on October 14, 2022 in a Cross-Platform manner. It should also be noted that this line of game DLC can still only be obtained for a fee.

“EA and Maxis have welcomed millions of The Sims players over the years,” EA said in an official announcement. “With the base game The Sims 4 going free, the team will be more dedicated than ever to developing new and meaningful experiences for our players. We will also continue to develop and release packages, Kits, and Sims Delivery Express into the future.”

Ready to Hold LIVE Behind The Sims Summit Acara

It sounds like EA and Maxis are ready to provide further details on The Sims 4 Free-to-Play at a broadcast event that will air on October 18th. The event will be called “Behind The Sims Summit.” It is not clear what content will be present at the LIVE event. From the looks of it, EA ‘s plan to continue to support The Sims 4 seems to be big enough to have to make its own event.

For those of you who haven’t tried this game, now is the time. For that, you can play The Sims 4 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series platforms. As usual, PC users can purchase the game through the Steam Store and Origin Store pages. So, are you ready to reminisce about creating your family and dream home in Sims?
