Low Roar Singer and Death Stranding Contributor Ryan Karazija Passes Away
Founder and lead singer of Low Roar, Ryan Karazija, known for his huge contribution to the Death Stranding soundtrack have passed away. A statement on Low Roar’s social media read:
Ryan Karazija, the front man and driving force behind Low Roar, has passed away at the age of 40.
Her beautiful music and lyrics, sung in her haunting voice have touched the lives of so many people around the world and will continue to do so.
She was a kind and beautiful soul, and our world is devastated by her loss. May we honor his memory through his art and embrace him forever in his songs.
The sixth recording of Low Roar is already underway and will be completed and released when it is ready. Please respect his family’s privacy at this very difficult time.

The name Low Roar became popular among video game fans after their song was featured in the Death Stranding trailer in 2016.
Hideo Kojima, who discovered the band while traveling in Reykjavík, featured the band heavily in Death Stranding. In the Death Stranding OST, the band is featured 18 times, with the other 4 songs coming from Silent Poets, Chvrches, and Apocalyptica.
