Rainbow Six Mobile’s closed beta is now live in select countries

The long wait for the release of Ubisoft‘s latest shooter game continues. Today, however, we get another update on the development of Rainbow Six Mobile. After successful positive feedback from players, Ubisoft is finally ready to open the first closed beta phase for Rainbow Six Mobile. So, when is the launch expected? Let’s jump up with the latest gaming news from gamedaim.

Rainbow Six Siege was first released in 2015 and is the most successful game among Ubisoft’s famous titles. This game offers a competitive class tactics shooter game concept that has found its way into one of the most popular eSports industries. After the huge success on the PC and console market, Ubisoft is naturally interested in finally releasing its flagship game on mobile.

Ubisoft Officially Start Rainbow Six Mobile Open Beta

During the Ubisoft Forward Event that took place the day before yesterday, game developer Ubisoft officially opened the first closed beta phase for Rainbow Six Mobile. As you can see, the game has opened the pre-registration period, which is only for Android users. Players who participate in this phase will receive exclusive content at launch.

For those of you unfamiliar with Rainbow Six Mobile, it’s promised to follow the same format and gameplay as the PC and console versions. This game comes in 5v5 mode like a typical competitive shooter. However, Rainbow Six has several Operator classes with their own unique abilities. The Closed-Beta phase went live on September 12 in 7 countries only. These are the US, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Singapore, the Philippines, and India.

Available in 7 countries, unfortunately the Open Beta is not yet available in Indonesia

The only bad news is that the closed beta is only available to Android users for now. For the Android owners among you who are interested, there are two game modes that are introduced in the current phase. This includes Mission Bombs and Secure Areas, along with a very limited map selection, Banks and Borders only. Ubisoft promises to provide further updates when the time is right.

For those of you who can’t wait, Rainbow Six Siege Mobile has been confirmed for release in 2022. Unfortunately, the release date is still not set. The studio only ensures that you can access this game through the IOS and Android platforms. So, what do you think, are you interested in trying it.
