Haruhiro Tsujimoto: Future Capcom Games Will Be Cross-Playable

Speaking with Famitsu (via ryokutya2089), Haruhiro Tsujimoto has stated that future Capcom games will have cross-play support.

According to Tsujimoto, the development of Exoprimal was partly driven by the desire to gain such experience and expertise. He believes that Capcom needs to make more games like Exoprimal in order to be a testing ground for the company’s future.

Other information Tsujimoto shared included Capcom’s take on Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, Street Fighter 6, and digital sales of their games.

According to Tsujimoto, Capcom released Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective specifically because of the success of the Ace Attorney franchise internationally and they knew that this game would receive attention.

In addition, Tsujimoto said that since Street Fighter V sold over 7 million copies, then Street Fighter 6 could sell over 10 million copies during its lifetime.

Tsujimoto also said that Capcom will start promoting some of its older games.
