For the first time in years, Call of Duty returns with a direct sequel as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III continues the events that took place in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II.
This completely new experience is scheduled to release worldwide on Friday, November 10, 2023, allowing players for the first time to seamlessly continue their journey, progression, and story in the coming year.
Get ready for a new Campaign that continues the story immediately following the events of Modern Warfare II. Sledgehammer Games, in collaboration with Infinity Ward, is ready to deliver a Campaign full of action-packed operations ranging from distinctive cinematic experiences to freeform Open Combat Missions, resulting in more player choice than ever before.
Expect a world-class Multiplayer experience that celebrates the Modern Warfare franchise’s greatest legacy; all 16 launch maps from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009) have been modernized with new gameplay modes and features and will be available at launch to help everyone get started, while over 12 all-new 6v6 core maps will drive the match season straight after launch.
For the first time ever, join forces with other squads to survive and fight off massive hordes of the undead in the biggest Call of Duty Zombies map ever.
