Recent reports have revealed that Gamurs Group will purchase sites held by Enthusiast Gaming, such as Upcomer, Destructoid, and The Escapist.

Gamurs Group Buys Enthusiast Gaming Site
Jacob Wolf, a journalist who previously served as the chief reporter for the Dot Esports website, reported that Gamurs Group will be purchasing several Enthusiast Gaming video game sites.
Wolf added that Upcomer, Destructoid, and The Escapist will be sold along with other unspecified “editorial assets”.
Outside of these sites, Enthusiast Games also owns various gaming sites such as Siliconera, Addicting Games, The Sims Resource, and PC Invasion. One of their groups, Steel Media, also controls PocketGamer.biz, PC Games Insider, and several related networking events.

Gamurs Group is already known for its Dot Esports site as well as Gamepur. In recent years, it has actively expanded its brand base in gaming and added several new lineups such as Prima Games, Twinfinite, The Mary Sue, and We Got This Covered.
Update 29 September 2022: Riad Chikhani, the founder of Gamurs Group, has announced that they have purchased Destructoid, The Escapist, PC Invasion, Siliconera, Upcomer, and Operation Sports.
