Dead Rising 5 Project Gameplay Leaked to the Internet?

A Dead Rising community figure on Twitter, STiP0, has revealed that Dead Rising 5 went through a development cycle before being canceled. He got this information through the portfolio of a developer who used to work at Capcom Vancouver.

The video above is one of the longest clips taken from that portfolio and has likely been around for years without anyone knowing.

Known as Dead Rising: Dia de Los Muertos, Dead Rising 5 reportedly features the returning Chuck Greene from Dead Rising 2, fighting in urban and jungle environments somewhere in Mexico. Reportedly, Dead Rising: Dia de Los Muertos will feature two playable characters and have soul-like elements.

According to information shared on the DidYouKnowGaming podcast in 2020, Dead Rising 5 is in development and is planned to release a few years after the release of Dead Rising 4 in 2016.
