In Minecraft, the Crafting Table is one of the most important items that you must have in your Inventory. This item has a function to create various types of items in the game.

There are two types of Crafting Table which are 2×2 size and 3×3 size.

When you first start playing Minecraft, you’ll get a 2×2 Crafting Table. This size allows you to craft simple items.

But if you want to make more types of items, then you will need a Crafting Table with a larger size, namely 3×3. To be able to use a 3×3 Crafting Table, you must first know how to make a Crafting Table.

To create a Crafting Table in Minecraft, you’ll need the following list of items:

4 Oak Planks
4 Spruce Planks
4 Birch Planks
4 Jungle Planks
4 Acacia Planks
4 Dark Oak Planks
4 Mangrove Planks
4 Bamboo Planks
4 Crimson Planks
4 Warped Planks

How to make a crafting table in Minecraft

Open the Crafting Menu

First, open the crafting menu in Minecraft.

The button to open the crafting menu is different for each version of Minecraft.

For Java Edition (PC/Mac), press the E key on the keyboard to open the crafting menu.
For Pocket Edition (PE), you can press the three-dotted button on the right side of the hotbar to open the crafting menu.
For PS3 and PS4, press the Square button on the PS controller to open the crafting menu.
For Xbox 360 and Xbox One, press the X button on the Xbox controller to open the crafting menu.
For Windows 10 Edition, press the E button to open the crafting menu.
For Wii U, press the Y button on the Gamepad to open the crafting menu.
For Nintendo Switch, press the Y button on the controller to open the crafting menu.
For Education Edition, press the E key on the Keyboard to open the crafting menu.

Add Materials to Make a Crafting Table

In the crafting menu, you will see a crafting area on the right which is also known as a 2×2 Crafting Table.

To create a Crafting Table, you can add 4 Wood Planks to the 2×2 Crafting Table. You can use any type of Wood Planks such as oak, spruce, birch, jungle, acacia, dark oak, mangrove, bamboo, crimson, or warped planks.
For example, here we use Acacia Planks as the material.

After adding materials to the Crafting Table 2×2, the Crafting Table will appear in the right box.

Move the Crafting Table to the Inventory

After successfully creating the Crafting Table, all you need to do is move it to your inventory.

Congratulations, now you have successfully created a Crafting Table.
