Materials Needed

To create a Chest in Minecraft, you’ll need the following list of items:

8 Oak Planks	8 Acacia Planks

8 Dark Oak Planks	8 Warped Planks

How to Make a Chest in Minecraft

Open Crafting Table

First, open the Crafting Table.

Add Items to Create Chest

On the Crafting Table, add 8 Wood Planks.

To make the Chest, you can use any Wood Planks oak, spruce, birch, jungle, acacia, dark oak, mangrove, bamboo, crimson, or warped planks. For example, here we use Oak Planks.

When making the Chest, the Wood Planks should be placed in the right pattern as shown in the picture. 3 Wood Planks in the first row, 2 Wood Planks in the second row (with the center box empty), and 3 Wood Planks in the third row. This is the recipe for creating a Chest in Minecraft.

After adding 8 Wood Planks to the Crafting Table in the correct pattern, the Chest will automatically appear in the right box.

Move Chest to Inventory

After successfully creating the Chest, all you need to do is move it to your inventory.
