Ubisoft and Ubisoft San Francisco have announced the release date of XDefiant, which is May 21, 2024.

XDefiant Description and Release Date
XDefiant is a free-to-play first-person online arena shooter game where you compete in fast-paced combat. With cross-play available at launch, you can play with friends across multiple platforms.
Some key features:
- Customized Loadouts – Choose from a wide variety of weapons, gear, and devices to optimize the way you play. Combine any weapon with any Faction, and unlock new options as you play to fine-tune your playstyle.
- Factions – Factions are drawn from the iconic Ubisoft world and represent different classes, each with unique abilities and Ultras. Choose any character from any faction to form a team of six players. Change your Faction at any time during play to suit your strategy.
- Maps, Modes, and Mayhem – Play across a variety of 14 maps at launch in several different arenas and linear modes including Zone Control, Escort, Occupy, and more. Fight in casual matches or rank up in competitive ranked modes.
- New Content Every Season – Every three months will bring a new season that includes a new Faction, new characters, new maps, new weapons, new cosmetics, and events. As a live game, XDefiantwill continue to provide an exhilarating experience season after season, with a wide variety of fresh and fun content.
XDefiant will release on PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC(Ubisoft Connect) on May 21, 2024.
