Wonder Woman Won’t Be a Live Service Game, Stay Single-Player

Warner Bros. Games said that Wonder Woman is not a live service game and its focus is single-player.

WB Games: Wonder Woman Bukan Game Live Service, Tetap Single-Player

Wccftech reports that Monolith Productions is looking for a candidate who has experience in “helping maintain software products or live games” for its Wonder Woman game.

This information is interesting because Monolith Productions has only announced Wonder Woman as a single-player open world action game featuring an original story. Neither Monolith Productions nor Warner Bros. Games have mentioned the live service element before.

Previously, Warner Bros. CEO David Zaslav said that his company is focused on “transforming” their biggest game franchises into live services.

Now, Warner Bros. Games has given a statement to IGN denying that this will be a live service game.

Wonder Woman is a single-player action-adventure game set in a dynamic open world,” said a Warner Bros. Games spokesperson. “This third-person experience will allow players to become Diana of Themyscira and introduce an original story set in the DC Universe, featuring the Nemesis System.”

The Warner Bros. Games spokesperson then added, “We did not design Wonder Woman as a live service.”
