Uncharted Waters Origin Release Date and Description
Co-developed by Motif, an affiliated development company of LINE Games, and Koei Tecmo, Uncharted Waters Origin is a seafaring sandbox RPG that allows players to enjoy trade, battle, and adventure content set in the 16th century Age of Discovery.
To commemorate the franchise’s 30-year legacy, Uncharted Waters Origin builds upon the franchise’s most popular titles, Uncharted Waters II: New Horizons and Uncharted Waters: Gaiden.
The game recreates the original franchise with 4K Unreal Engine 4 graphics and over 104 fully arranged soundtracks, including original songs by YoKo Kanno, adding to the immersive experience.
Launched first in South Korea, Uncharted Waters Origin has won four awards at the Korea Game Awards 2022, including the Grand Prize, Best Scenario, and Sound categories.
Uncharted Waters Origin will be released on iOS, Android, and PC (Steam, FLOOR) on March 7, 2023.
