Naughty Dog has announced that sales of The Last of Us franchise have surpassed 37 million copies worldwide.

Sony Interactive Entertainment and Naughty Dog have announced that total sales in The Last of Us franchise have surpassed 37 million copies worldwide as of December 2022.
Naughty Dog also shared another look at the upcoming multiplayer game The Last of Us with new concept artwork:
We’re looking forward to The Last of Us’ 10th anniversary in June and we’re excited to share more with you about the future of the franchise.
We’ll have some pleasant surprises for you along the way, but later this year we’ll start offering some details about our ambitious The Last of Us multiplayer game.
With a team led by Vinit Agarwal, Joe Pettinati and Anthony Newman, this project will be a fresh new experience from our studio, but rooted in Naughty Dog’s passion for delivering great stories, characters and gameplay.

The Last of Us franchise still has several media releases such as:
- The Last of Us television adaptation will premiere on HBO and HBO Max on January 15, 2023.
- The PC version of The Last of Us Part I will be released on March 3, 2023.
- Interviews and behind-the-scenes looks at the original The Last of Us, The Last of Us Part I, and its adaptation to television.
