The Elder Scrolls VI Not Headed for PS5

An internal document made public as part of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) hearing with Microsoft has confirmed that The Elder Scrolls VI will not be coming to PS5.
According to a new chart created by Microsoft, The Elder Scrolls VI is not expected to launch until 2026 or later and will be available on PC and Xbox.
In The Elder Scrolls VI graphic section, it also includes a statement derived from Phil Spencer’s interview with GQ, where Spencer says:

To be on Xbox, I want us to be able to deliver the full package of what we have. And that becomes a reality when I think about The Elder Scrolls VI.
Phil Spencer, CEO of Microsoft Gaming

In another document created in 2022, Microsoft also noted that The Elder Scrolls VI “will probably only be released on Xbox and PC”.
In August 2023, Todd Howard was asked by GQ if he regretted The Elder Scrolls VI being announced so long ago, to which he replied: “I ask myself that a lot. I don’t know. I probably would have announced it more casually.”
