According to a deleted post by u/suicidal_tendencie (photo via XFire), Virtuos is reportedly working on 5 different projects.

One of its biggest projects is “Altar” which is described as a “remaster or remake of Oblivion“. According to the user, it is still unclear if this project will be a full remake, but Virtuos will use a “pairing system” to “use Unreal Engine 5 projects and old Oblivion projects”.

The user, who claims to work for Virtuos Games Paris, also said that the European studio was responsible for the project, but Black Shamrock helped their studio “for art”.

The user believes that the new version of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will be released before 2025 or in early 2025, “mostly depending on whether it’s a remake or remaster”.

Interestingly, a moderator for r/GamingLeaksAndRumors has verified this user’s identity by proving that he is a former Virtuos employee.

In addition to a remake or remastered version of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, the same user also made claims about a project that “has ambitions to be a big AAA project”. The project is described as a fusion of Monster Hunter and Shadow of the Colossus.

The third project, named “Cobra”, is Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater. The other two projects are a new expansion for New World and a “narrative rock climbing game”.
