Katsuhiro Harada: TEKKEN 8 Will Not Have Denuvo

Director of TEKKEN 8, Katsuhiro Harada, has confirmed that TEKKEN 8 will not have Denuvo.

Katsuhiro Harada: TEKKEN 8 Will Not Have Denuvo

In a post on X, Katsuhiro Harada confirmed that the development team will not be introducing Denuvo “or anything else” into TEKKEN 8.

Harada made this statement after a now-deleted post showed that End User License Agreement (EULA) TEKKEN 8 mentioned that Denuvo is used under the third-party software category on Steam.

This EULA is probably just a copy/paste of TEKKEN 7 or something… Anyway, I have no plans to introduce Denuvo or anything in TEKKEN 8, so stop your boring allergic reactions to every single thing and sit tight (sit down).

TEKKEN 8 will release on PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC (Steam), but the game has no release date yet.
