Koei Tecmo has confirmed that Team Ninja has no other games besides Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty in 2023.

Koei Tecmo: Team Ninja Has No Other Games in 2023 After Wo Long
Following Famitsu’s interview with the head of Team Ninja, Fumihiko Yasuda, news broke from several media outlets that the studio has another game that will launch before Rise of the Ronin.
“Rise of the Ronin has been in development for about 7 years and is scheduled to be released in 2024,” Yasuda said. “This work will be launched in 2023 and I feel like releasing a new title in 2025.”
The Famitsu interview was published on March 11, 2023, after the release of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. This, along with Yasuda’s mention of “this work,” led to speculation that Team Ninja had another game planned for 2023.
As noted in the Famitsu article, the interview was conducted on February 14, 2023 before the release of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. The interview itself also discussed Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.
Asked for confirmation, a Koei Tecmo spokesperson stated to Destructoid that “this work” refers to Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. The spokesperson noted that Team Ninja’s game in 2023 will be Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty and that the studio has no other games planned for 2023.
