Valve has announced several Steam Sale dates in late 2022 and 2023, these include the Steam Autumn Sale 2022, Steam Winter Sale 2022, and Steam Spring Sale 2023.

Steam Winter Sale 2022 Dates Announced
Valve has announced some Steam Sale dates later in the year. From 2023, they will also replace the Lunar New Year Sale with the Spring Sale.
Below are the Steam Sale dates for late 2022 to early 2023:
- Autumn sale: 23 November – 30 November 2022
- Winter Sale: 23 December 2022 – 6 January 2023
- Spring Sale: 17 March – 24 March 2023
According to Valve, the new change was made to “create more space” between the 4 main Seasonal Sales that are usually present on Steam.
We first ran the Lunar New Year Sale on Steam in 2016 to celebrate the influx of game developers and customers from regions such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, and South Korea. Publishers and players around the world are excited about the additional opportunity for a big Steam Sale.
However, over the years we have received feedback that Lunar New Year is often too close to the Steam Sale period in December. We think many publishers will still choose to discount games around the Lunar New Year holiday by using special discount tools. But we think customers would be better served with a little more time between Steam’s massive seasonal sales.
