Starfield reaches 6 million players, Bethesda’s most successful game yet

Since its release a few days ago, Starfield has become Bethesda’s most successful game to date. It reached 6 million players and became one of the top RPG games alongside Fallout and The Elder Scrolls.

Furthermore, Bethesda also marked this achievement with a thank you to the fans who have played it. Curious as to what the details are? Check out this review from Gamedaim below.

Starfield Reaches 6 Million Players

In comparison, Skyrim managed to sell around 3.4 million units on Xbox, PS3, and PC only within 2 days of its release in 2011. However, in December, that number increased to 10 million. Meanwhile, Fallout 4 sold at least 1.2 million copies on Steam within just 24 hours of its release and broke the record held by Grand Theft Auto 5 on Steam.

Starfield’s achievements don’t end there. Because, this game managed to reach at least 1 million players simultaneously. Of course, Bethesda still has the option to continue developing Starfield. Moreover, the game’s setting in outer space means they have a lot of innovation to do.

Currently, some players have used the ship creator feature in Starfield to recreate famous ships like Star Wars, Serenity, and Star Trek, and many hidden references to other games like Skyrim have been discovered.
