Sonic Superstars Featuring 3D Graphics
Sonic Superstars is a high-speed action game that combines the classic feel of Sonic’s iconic 2D side-scrolling series with crisp 3D graphics.
A new adventure has begun for Sonic and his friends Tails, Amy and Knuckles in the mysterious Northstar Islands, inhabited by giant creatures. With your newfound Emerald Powers, stop Dr. Eggman and Fang, who plan to use the creatures for their evil plans!
The 2D side-scrolling action of the series is back and better than ever, with new visuals, zones, songs, and mechanics! Beginners and longtime fans alike can enjoy a new experience that retains the classic charm of the Sonic series!
Introduce Multiple Adventure Zones
- SPEED JUNGLE
The pursuit of Fang will take players into the dark dense forest. While speeding through the vines, gliding through the dense undergrowth, perhaps players will suddenly fall into darkness! This zone also sets the stage for exclusive Sonic action where players can enjoy a thrilling chase with Fang.
- PINBALL CARNIVAL
A bustling park where players can enjoy colorful neon lights and fireworks. During the day, it’s a vibrant world for thrill-seekers, but at night, it turns into a gloomy atmosphere. There are many unique and fun Sonic attractions such as pinball machines and jet coasters! At the end of the zone, a giant Dr. Eggman awaits.
- CYBER STATION
A strange yet beautiful world where everything is pixelated, including Sonic and his friends! Transform into jellyfish, mice, rockets and more to overcome the weirdness of the digital world!
A Group of Colored Characters
In Sonic Superstars, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy will appear alongside Sonic as playable characters. Each character has their own unique skills, aside from basic maneuvers like running, jumping, and spinning dashing. Sonic has Drop Dash & Tails can fly. Knuckles has Glide and Wall Climb, while Amy’s skill is Hammer Smash. Utilize these skills to take on their archenemies, Dr. Eggman and Fang, while also facing a variety of new enemies!
Unlock new Emerald Powers by collecting Chaos Emeralds from Special Stages hidden throughout the adventure. Emerald Powers, use the abilities as many times as desired within a limited time. If the time has expired, simply skip the Star Post to recharge the Emerald Power. Try each Emerald Power and discover a new way to experience this high-speed adventure!
Play with Friends in Multiplayer Mode
This is the first title in the Sonic series to feature local multiplayer. Enjoy the adventures of up to four players in Story Mode. Battle mode can be played both online and offline. When online, players can participate in battles with up to eight players from around the world!
