Saudi Arabia Bans Final Fantasy XVI Release
According to information shared by Insider Gaming, the Saudi Arabian Public Authority for Media has announced via Twitter that Saudi Arabia will not release Final Fantasy XVI. The tweet said. “For fans of the game #FinalFantasyXIV, we would like to clarify that the game will not be released in the Kingdom, following the publisher’s unwillingness to make some modifications.”
From the tweet, it can also be confirmed that this game will also not be released in the United Arab Emirates.
Saudi Arabia has often banned games and movies. The main reason for this is the presence of content that does not comply with local regulations. Such as violence, gambling, nudity, sexual themes, drug and alcohol use, and other reasons.
Previously, it has also banned the release of the God of War, Grand Theft Auto, and The Last of Us game series.
