A new report has revealed that Call of Duty 2023 will be called Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and developed by Sledgehammer Games.

Call of Duty 2023 Be Called Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III?
Insider Gaming reports that the Call of Duty 2023, which has been rumored since 2022, will be called Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. The title is being developed by Sledgehammer Games and will be supported by several other Call of Duty studios.
Insider Gaming notes that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will include a campaign, multiplayer, zombies and a new Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 map during Season 1.
Las Almas, a map found in the campaign of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II will be the Battle Royale map of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Battle Royale map in Season 1. For zombies, Insider Gaming states that the mode is basically Outbreak 2.0.
Regarding the important dates of Call of Duty 2023, Insider Gaming has provided some of the key release dates currently set:
- Beta weekend 1 (PS4/PS5) – October 6, 2023 – October 10, 2023
- Beta weekend 2 (PS4/PS5/Xbox One/Xbox Series X/Xbox Series S/PC) – October 12, 2023 – October 16, 2023
- Kampagne Early Access (PS4/PS5/Xbox One/Xbox Serie X/Xbox Serie S/PC) – 2. November 2023
- Full release (PS4/PS5/Xbox One/Xbox Series X/Xbox Series S/PC) – November 10, 2023.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is planned to be announced by Activision in early August 2023.
