Recent reports have revealed that Resident Evil 9 will likely release in 2025, with an announcement in 2024.

Is Resident Evil 9 Released in 2025?
On Discord, someone asked Dusk Golem if he knew when Resident Evil 9 would launch. Golem then replied, “2025, I would say that much, although it [will probably] be announced next year.”
In addition, Golem also claimed that there is “one big Capcom game” that will be announced by the end of 2023 and launched in 2024.
This claim is in line with previous Resident Evil release dates. Resident Evil 7: Biohazard launches in 2017, followed by Resident Evil 2 Remake in 2019. Additionally, Resident Evil Village launches in 2021, followed by Resident Evil 4 Remake in 2023.
If the timing is right, then this two-year span would put Resident Evil 9 to launch in 2025.
For Dusk Golem’s big Capcom game claim, there’s a good chance Golem is referencing the rumored new Dead Rising game revealed by Windows Central journalist Jez Corden.
In May 2023, Corden said that a reboot version of Dead Rising was being developed by Capcom. Given that Golem has a fondness for horror games, it’s no surprise that Dead Rising is the game he’s referring to.
