Fairy Fencer F: Refrain Chord is a tactical RPG directly connected to the story of Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force.
Fang and the others meet a mysterious woman named Glace, who can brainwash others with her songs. Another woman named Fleur joins their group, who also has the power of song.
Both are known as Muses and can enhance or alter the abilities of others with the power of singing. What are Glace’s motives?

- FFF Tactics?! – Strategize to gain an advantage with the new tactical RPG combat system! Use the terrain and objects like rocks, boxes, and grass to your advantage. Strategic positioning on the battlefield can increase dodging ability, or decrease movement speed, among other effects. Plus, the Avalanche Attack and Fairize battle mechanics are back!
- Fairies, Fencers, Furies…and Muses? – With the introduction of two Muses, an entirely new battle mechanic is in your hands. Use the power of their songs to buff allies or combine both areas of increased effect for even more DRAMATIC buffs! But beware, enemies within the area can also benefit.
- Hidden Fairies, Locations, and Treasure! – Break new ground with the new version of “World Shaping”. With “Location Shaping”, use the Furies you’ve collected by stabbing them in various locations on the world map. By doing so, you can unlock items, hidden locations, or even Fairies. Activate the chain to stab more locations without using up the limited Locate Energy!
- All-New Story With Multiple Routes! –Follow Fang and his friends through various routes in this all-new story, as they continue their quest to awaken the Furies to raise a Goddess. Will you find harmony or dissonance when destiny is in your hands?
