Koei Tecmo has announced that Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse will be released in March 2023.

Description and Release Date of Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse
Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse was released in 2008 for Wii as the fourth title in the Fatal Frame/Project Zero franchise. Following the remastered version of Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water, the masterpiece of the Fatal Frame franchise will be revived with improved graphics.
When the protagonists were children, they visited the isolated Rogetsu Island. In the middle of the festival, they mysteriously disappeared. The title begins when the girls decide to go back and visit the island again in search of the memories they lost that day.
Trying to ward off approaching ghosts, relying only on the dim light of a flashlight and a camera with the ability to capture the unimaginable, Camera Obscura.
What is Camera Obscura?
- An old camera with the ability to exorcise vengeful ghosts and seal their power by photographing them.
- Equip a stronger lens and change to a different film to capture stronger photos.
- Reveal “things that cannot be seen” to find clues that will help in the discovery of lost things.
Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse will release on PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam) on March 9, 2023.
