Sony Interactive Entertainment has officially announced that PS5 sales have surpassed 30 million units worldwide.

Sony Interactive Entertainment president Jim Ryan has announced that the PS5 has already sold more than 30 million units and the console’s supply shortages have now ended.

PS5 supply improved towards the end of last year and I’m happy to say that December was the biggest month ever for PS5 console sales and that we have now sold over 30 million units to consumers worldwide.

Confident that the PS5 supply issues are now fully resolved, Jim Ryan added that “everyone who wants a PS5 should have an easier time finding one at retailers globally, from this point forward”.
As of September 30, 2022, Sony Interactive Entertainment has claimed that the PS5 has sold 25 million units.
