Description of PARANORMASIGHT: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo
Set during the Showa era (1926-89) in Tokyo’s Sumida City, Honjo, PARANORMASIGHT: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo is a collection of suspenseful ghost stories centered on several main characters who possess the “power of the curse”.
Playing from the perspective of a number of cursed characters, players will investigate the mysteries of Honjo. During the day, players will explore mysterious areas of the city, solving puzzles and finding new clues to help them unravel the mystery behind these seven deadly curses. As night falls, they will either hunt or be hunted by other curse-bearers. Players must master control of their own powers while figuring out how not to fall prey to others during this supernatural ordeal.
Players can travel through the haunted Honjo underground passage and be immersed in certain areas in the game through panoramic views of Sumida City, all of which were captured from real-life scenes using 360-degree cameras with the full cooperation and support of the Sumida City Tourism Division, local museums, tourism associations, and local communities.
