Nexon Sues IRONMACE Over Dark and Darker “Copyright Infringement”

Onepeg reported that a few weeks after the Dark and Darker feud, Nexon officially sued IRONMACE for copyright infringement.

This happened when IRONMACE released a playtest for Dark and Darker via torrent after the game was previously removed from Steam due to Nexon’s initial complaint of copyright infringement.

In the lawsuit, Nexon is not only seeking to ensure Dark and Darker is halted from development and public distribution, but they are also seeking monetary damages from IRONMACE for alleged copyright infringement.

This requested amount will make up for the money lost while working on P3, which IRONMACE claims had its source code stolen to make Dark and Darker.

In addition, Nexon also named two of its former employees in the lawsuit, namely Ju-Hyun Choi and Terence Seungha Park. It was claimed that Choi had tried to convince other employees to leave and join IRONMACE.
