New Red Dead Redemption Logo Appears on Rockstar Site

@TezFunz2 pointed out that in a Rockstar Games site update, a game known as “Red Dead Redemption (Rockstar Presents Ver)” has been added to the list of internal games.

As of June 2023, Red Dead Redemption was recently classified by the Game Rating and Administration Committee (GRAC). Red Dead Redemption was released on PS3 and Xbox 360 in May 2010, but was never ported to PC.

In July 2022, Kotaku reported that remastered versions of Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto IV are not completely “out of scope” and could still happen in the future after Grand Theft Auto VI officially launches.

According to Kotaku, the idea of a remastered version of Red Dead Redemption has been “on the table” of Rockstar Games for the past few years.

After Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition fizzled out in 2021 and demand for Grand Theft Auto VI grew, Rockstar Games has changed plans again and is moving forward to the next one, at least for now.

According to Kotaku, the reception and sales of remasters will play an important factor in Rockstar Games’ future remaster projects.
