Capcom and Niantic have announced that Monster Hunter Now will release on mobile in September 2023.

For those who have ever dreamed of hunting monsters in the real world, Monster Hunter Now makes that fantasy a reality. Taking on the role of a hunter, players will go on adventures and team up with fellow players to take down the fiercest monsters thus adding a social element to the thrilling experience. According to GamesIndustry.biz who attended the Monster Hunter Now press conference, the game has been in development for 4 years following Niantic’s visit to Capcom in March 2019. They confirmed that the game will have in-game purchases, but more on that at a later date.

GamesIndustry.biz also asked what Niantic and Capcom expect from Monster Hunter Now:
