Square Enix and Historia have announced that LIVE A LIVE Remake will be released on April 27, 2023, for PS5, PS4, and PC.

LIVE A LIVE Remake Set to Hit PC, PS5, and PS4
LIVE A LIVE will offer players the freedom to explore eight different stories with eight different characters, each set in a different time from the pre-historic era to the Wild West, and more.
Each unique chapter will offer players a variety of different gameplay mechanics to master, such as stealth, suspense, and trap placement all centered on A LIVE turn-based combat system.
Players will also be able to customize their gameplay adventure according to their preferences, the episodic story format giving players the freedom to complete each chapter from start to finish in any order they choose, or even play a bit of each chapter in parallel at the same time.
Created by Takashi Tokita (Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy IV), director of the original Super Nintendo version of the game, LIVE A LIVE has been revitalized using HD-2D technology that blends pixel art visuals with modern graphics, offering a classic RPG gaming experience with updated visuals on PS4, PS5, and PC.

Players can look forward to a new version of the game’s soundtrack that has been re-arranged under the supervision of LIVE A LIVE’s lead composer Yoko Shimomura (Final Fantasy XV, Kingdom Hearts franchise).
LIVE A LIVE Remake will release on PS5, PS4, and PC (Steam) on April 29, 2023. The game is already available on Nintendo Switch.
