Lewis Harvey has revealed that WILD HEARTS will have no microtransactions and will have free content after launch.

Lewis Harvey took part in an AMA session on Reddit when he was asked about what players can expect in terms of in-game monetization in WILD HEARTS.
All post-launch content will be free, including the new Kemono and more. We have no plans to introduce microtransactions.

On the other side of the AMA, Harvey also stated that players who want to play the game solo can do so offline and there is a post-campaign endgame with a more powerful Kemono that will be expanded with free content updates.
Harvey notes that the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions will offer the default Performance mode at 1080p and 60fps, as well as an optional Quality mode offering “up to 4K and 30fps”.
However, not all of Harvey’s answers were positive. In addition to confirming that there is no female-specific armor in the game at launch, he also noted that the game will not be supported on Steam Deck.
WILD HEARTS will be released for PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, Origin) on February 15, 2023.
