A few days after its release, the Steam version of Hogwarts Legacy is rumored to have broken the record of 879 thousand concurrent players.

Hogwarts Legacy on Steam Hits 879 Thousand Players, How Can It Be?
A few days ago, SteamDB reported that Hogwarts Legacy amassed 879,308 concurrent players on Steam at its peak.
Not only that, but Hogwarts Legacy also skyrocketed into the top 10 most-played games on Steam while still in the Early Access stage with 489,139 players.
In addition to that record, Steam Charts showed that Hogwarts Legacy topped the list of best-selling games, vaulting into the top four from its previous position of ninth.
The game is certainly by no means perfect, but in terms of how active its player base is, the Steam Charts numbers wouldn’t be able to lie.
Hogwarts Legacy is already available on PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store). The PS4 and Xbox One versions will launch in April 2023, while the Nintendo Switch version will launch in July 2023.
