Kojima Productions founder Hideo Kojima has revealed that he will be “deeply involved” in the Death Stranding film adaptation.

Hideo Kojima Deeply Involved in Death Stranding Movie
Hideo Kojima recently revealed on Twitter the long list of departments he will hold in the film adaptation of Death Stranding.
To clarify, I was heavily involved in producing, supervising, planning, look, design, and content for the movie adaptation of [Death Stranding], just not in charge of directing.

Many fans were expecting Death Stranding to be Kojima’s first film debut, considering it was made by Kojima Productions and Hammerstone Studios. However, he is likely to keep his role as a producer.
The Death Stranding movie has been announced for December 2022 and will “introduce new elements and characters within the Death Stranding universe”, although little is known about the movie.
