Hideki Kamiya, senior vice president of PlatinumGames, seems to be teasing the existence of Bayonetta 4.

Hideki Kamiya Teases Bayonetta 4?
Bayonetta 4 seems to have been casually announced in a tweet from Hideki Kamiya while discussing the previous game with fans. Kamiya acknowledged that Bayonetta 3‘s ending may have been unexpected for some fans, but said that Bayonetta 4‘s story will continue from that point.
I don’t think it was unexpected at all, but it seems that the ending of Bayonetta 3 was not properly conveyed to everyone, so I think Bayonetta 4 will be an unexpected development. After all, when Bayonetta 4 comes out, I’m sure there will be people who say, ‘You added that as an afterthought, so I’ll say it now.

The existence of Bayonetta 4 seems to be confirmed, at least as far as Kamiya’s tweets go, although the game won’t release for a few more years as Bayonetta 3 just released on 28 October 2022.
Bayonetta 3 is already available on Nintendo Switch.
