Take-Two Interactive has announced that they will release “multiple breakthrough titles” in the fiscal year 2025 that they believe will “set new standards in the industry” and also generate over 8 billion USD in net revenue.

The fiscal year 2025 runs from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025. Their press release reads:

Fiscal year 2025 is a year that our company is looking forward to. Over the past few years, we have been preparing our business for the release of very strong projects that we believe will take our company to a higher level of success.

In fiscal 2025, we expect to enter this new era by launching several breakthrough projects that we believe will set new standards in our industry and enable us to achieve more than USD 8 billion in net income and more than USD 1 billion in adjusted unrestricted operating cash flow. We look forward to maintaining this momentum by delivering additional growth in our operating results in fiscal 2026 and beyond.

Although not explicitly stated, one of these “breakthrough titles” is likely to be Grand Theft Auto VI from Take-Two Interactive subsidiary Rockstar Games.

IGN reported that Take-Two Interactive achieved the highest annual net revenue record of 5.3 billion USD for the fiscal year 2024. Previously, Take-Two Interactive’s annual net revenue was around 3 billion USD and rising.

When asked by GamesIndustry.biz if the 8 billion USD target was achievable without a new Grand Theft Auto game, Strauss Zelnick replied that the target was very achievable.

We are not talking about specific titles. We believe that this is very achievable. As you know, it’s very rare that we talk about our age. When we do, it’s because we have a high level of confidence. It’s a reflection of the path we’ve invested in over the years. We started to see that come to fruition in fiscal ’24 and then in fiscal ’25, we expect to see some great success.
