Sony Interactive Entertainment and Polyphony Digital have recently announced that they will end online services for Gran Turismo Sport on January 31, 2024.

Gran Turismo Sport’s Online Services will be Closed down
Sony Interactive Entertainment and Polyphony Digital have recently announced that they will end online services for Gran Turismo Sport on January 31, 2024.
Gran Turismo Sport launches for PS4 on October 17, 2017 in North America, October 18 in Europe, and October 19 in Japan.
Below is the official statement:
On January 31, 2024 at 13:00 CET, the online service of the PS4 exclusive software, Gran Turismo Sport, will end. Prior to that, on December 1, 2023, we will also end the distribution of Add-On items purchasable from PlayStation Store that can be used in the game.
After the end date, online services such as Community, Open Lobby, and Sport Mode will no longer be usable, as will online features/items such as custom liveries. The offline part of the game is still playable, including purchased Add-Ons.
We would like to thank the users of the Gran Turismo Sport online service since it was first launched in 2017. From now on, we will continue to improve online services for Gran Turismo 7 which is currently available on PS4 and PS5.
