Nacon and Appeal Studios have announced that Gangs of Sherwood will release on consoles and PC in fall 2023.

Gangs of Sherwood Release Fall 2023
Gangs of Sherwood is a cooperative action game for 1 to 4 players set in a reimagined Robin Hood world. Through the power of the Philosopher’s Stones, the Sheriff of Nottingham’s forces are now more important than ever, and the people of England have never been so oppressed.
Some key features:
- Lead the Rebellion – Play as Robin, Marian, Friar Tuck, or Little John, four heroes with unique and fully customizable play styles, and set out in search of riches to plunder so you can give them to the poor. From Sherwood Forest to the Sheriff’s flying castle, the way forward is blocked by hordes of enemies. Combine the heroes’ different fighting styles to thwart the tyrant’s plans and fight the performance-enhanced soldiers, formidable war machines and fearsome bosses you encounter as you progress.
- Rob the Rich to Give to the Poor… and to Equip Yourself! – Improve your reputation by saving innocent lives and giving your loot to people to unlock new upgrades and even more devastating combos. Spend your remaining gold with merchants to upgrade your equipment and customize your skills to suit your fighting style.
- Cooperative Action for Up to Four Players – Get increasingly impressive combos and work together with other team members to achieve highly satisfying combos. Meet your friends in your hideout and determine the best strategy to adopt before embarking on a mission, then put it to the test on the battlefield..
Gangs of Sherwood will release for PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store) in fall 2023.
