Frostpunk 2 Description and Release Date
Diving deeper into the post-apocalyptic abyss, Frostpunk 2 builds on the foundations that made its predecessor successful.
The game thrusts players into a world filled with unyielding realities and complex social dilemmas within an ever-evolving city. With greater scope and expansion in every aspect of game mechanics, Frostpunk 2 ratchets up the tension as you steer the City and its inhabitants into an uncertain future.
Much of the tension stems from the introduction of different factions within the City walls vying for loyalty among its citizens.
Will you tailor your decisions to the survivalist nature of Icebloods, which favors adaptation over development? Or will you side with the methodical Technocrats, advocates of technological advancement? Perhaps, you could even side with one of the more radical groups you’ll encounter in the game.
It’s all up to you – the City Steward.
Frostpunk 2 will release on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG) on July 25, 2024. PS5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S versions will be released at a later date. The game will also be available on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass.
