Yasuhiro Kitao has revealed that FromSoftware hopes to return to releasing games more frequently.

FromSoftware Wants to Release New Games More Often
Speaking with Eurogamer, Yasunori Ogura, and Yasuhiro Kitao were asked if FromSoftware will expand and work on more games at once.
This is our philosophy that hasn’t changed much in the past 10 years, especially since Miyazaki became president of the company.
This is an area that we feel we’re always trying to achieve: always making something new, always making something original, something that we find interesting and fun as players. So in that sense, not much has changed.
We are developing several titles simultaneously, we have several teams working on different projects. We hope to make our releases consecutive and bring something new and exciting in the not too distant future.

We’ve obviously nurtured our employee members and our development process and design philosophy over the last 10 years and we’ve had various employee members on various titles, including myself and [studio president, Hidetaka] Miyazaki, who always wanted to make another Armored Core. So, there’s really no question of whether it will be made or not, it’s just a matter of when.
