New reports have revealed that Rockstar Games is beginning to enter the final stages of development for Grand Theft Auto VI.

Rockstar Entering the Final Stage of Grand Theft Auto VI Development?
Bloomberg reports that Rockstar Games is asking its employees to return to the office five days a week from April 2024 as the company enters the final stages of development of its next Grand Theft Auto game.
In an email to employees, Rockstar Games’ head of publishing, Jenn Kolbe, said that the decision was made for productivity and safety reasons. Kolbe also wrote that Rockstar Games found “real benefits” from face-to-face work.
“Making these changes now will put us in the best position to deliver the next Grand Theft Auto at the level of quality and polish we know it needs, along with a publishing roadmap that matches the game’s scale and ambition,” Kolbe wrote.
Rockstar Games has faced several security leaks in recent years, including leaked early footage of Grand Theft Auto VI in September 2022 and leaked first trailer in December 2023.
Grand Theft Auto VI will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S in 2025. Since there is no PC version announcement, we can be sure that Rockstar Games will go through the same cycle as their previous games.
