Speaking on the global media tour for Final Fantasy XVI, Naoki Yoshida has said that Final Fantasy XVI will not be delayed unless a “meteor hits our headquarters in Japan”.

As we conclude, we also conclude the development of Final Fantasy XVI. We are nearing the final stages and are ready to launch the game on June 22, 2023 worldwide.
