Square Enix has revealed that total shipments and sales of Final Fantasy XVI have surpassed 3 million copies worldwide.

Final Fantasy XVI introduces gamers to an all-new standalone story in the world of Final Fantasy, an epic dark fantasy world set in the realm of Valisthea – a land blessed with the light of Mothercrystals, and where peace is shattered as the spread of the Blight threatens to destroy their rule.
