Square Enix has announced the release date of Final Fantasy XVI, which is June 22, 2023.

Final Fantasy XVI Description
Final Fantasy XVI introduces gamers to an all-new standalone story in the world of Final Fantasy, an epic dark fantasy world set in the realm of Valisthea – a land blessed with the light of Mothercrystals, and where peace is shattered as the spread of Blight threatens to destroy their rule.
The fate of the land is decided by the Eikons, powerful and deadly beings, and their Dominants, men and women who have been blessed with the ability to summon and use them.
This is the story of Clive Rosfield, a warrior who was given the title “First Shield of Rosaria” and swore to protect his younger brother, Joshua, the Phoenix Dominant, Eikon of Fire. Soon, Clive will be caught up in a great tragedy and vow to take revenge on the Dark Eikon Ifrit, a mysterious entity that brings havoc in its wake.
