Square Enix has revealed that Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince will release on consoles on December 1, 2023.

Description of Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince
Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince features Psaro, the demon prince, who is cursed to be unable to harm monsters. As a result, he must become a Monster Wrangler, recruiting and fighting alongside monsters in various environments in the fantastic world of Nadiria.
During this adventure, seasons will rotate regularly through Spring, Summer, Winter, and Fall, which not only changes the landscape, but also opens up new areas and players will encounter different monsters specific to that season.
One of the most powerful tools in a player’s arsenal is the newly evolved synthesis system that allows players to create completely new monsters by combining monsters already on their roster.
Players can also experiment and eventually unlock over 500 monsters, including franchise favorites, lords of darkness, and entirely new creatures. Once players have assembled their dream roster, they can take their powerful monster team online, to battle against other Monster Wranglers around the world.
Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince will release on Nintendo Switch on December 1, 2023.
