Devolver Digital and Massive Monster have announced that sales of Cult of the Lamb have broken their latest record since August 2022. The game is already available on PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam).

“Sins of the Flesh”, the next free update for the cute cult sim Cult of the Lamb, will offer plenty of carnal fun to its loyal Followers on January 16.

In the biggest and most wicked content update ever, the tendrils of the Cult extend even further with a variety of new, deeply evil missions, features, upgrades, and resources that reward leaders willing to succumb to the Sins of the Flesh.

Sins and Disciples – A new progression system adds depth and complexity to managing the Cult of the Lamb. By following a sinful path, your followers will enjoy gluttonous rituals, vain buildings, and wrathful doctrines. Invite your most loyal Followers to the inner circle of Disciples, a revamped level-up system for Follower progression.
Better Cult Life – Shiny manure, awesome brooms, and bigger and better buildings enhance the busy life of a Cult. Shiny dirt has special effects, such as producing lush plants and adding XP to your broom. Leveling up your broom will make tasks faster and more effective. To improve automation, there are also new levels for Janitor Stations and Storage Structures so your Followers will take better care of themselves.
Ready, Aim, Fire – Crush the heretics with the new Blunderbuss weapon. When charged, this weapon deals massive damage at close range to bring a new combat playstyle to your crusade. If you fill it even more with heavy attacks, you can aim at enemies from a long distance.
Outfits, Options, and Offspring! – Each devotee can show off their Follower’s outfit in the new Tailor building. Once opened, each cultist can wear their own outfit, with 23 different styles to choose from. But your Cult gets even more unique. When two Followers are deeply in love with each other, they might find an egg. Nurture the egg until it hatches, then nurture the offspring until they’re ready to swear allegiance to your Cult!
