Metacritic has announced that Capcom is the best-rated game publisher in 2023.

Capcom to Become Metacritic’s Best Game Publisher in 2023
Metacritic recently revealed the results of the 14th annual Game Publisher Rankings, which are determined based on the quality of publishers’ game releases in 2023.
Capcom has released a number of critically acclaimed games in 2023, including Resident Evil 4 Remake, Street Fighter 6, and Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective.
In addition, Capcom topped the rankings ahead of Raw Fury(Cassette Beasts) and Chorus Worldwide(A Space for the Unbound).
Only publishers with 5 or more distinct game titles releasing in 2023 are eligible for inclusion in the Metacritic ratings. These titles cannot be mobile games either.

- Raw Fury – 79.1
- Chorus Worldwide – 77.6
- Dangen Entertainment – 77.6
- Annapurna Interactive – 80.2
- Nintendo – 79.5
- Aksys Games – 78.5
- Bethesda Softworks – 80
- SEGA – 78.8
- Thunderful Group – 79.1
