A recent internal document revealed that Bohemia Interactive is apparently working on DayZ 2.

Bohemia Interactive Developing DayZ 2?
In Xbox’s internal M&A documents, Bohemia Interactive received a note from Microsoft that the company was working on DayZ 2.
The document also reveals that Bohemia Interactive is working on ARMA Reforger and ARMA 4, but those games have been confirmed to be in development, while DayZ 2 has not.
Below is a statement from a Bohemia Interactive spokesperson to IGN:
While we’re expanding our focus regarding possible DayZ games, the brand, and the team itself, we can’t offer too many details at this time.
There are many projects that the Bohemia Interactive development team is exploring/working on, but they will be officially announced if and only if we feel the time is right.
