Bandai Namco has confirmed in a Q&A session that they could release remastered versions of some of the older games in the Tales of franchise.

Bandai Namco Could Remaster Old Game Tales of
In a Q&A on the Tales of Symphonia Remastered website, Bandai Namco spoke briefly about the possibility of older games in the Tales of franchise receiving similar treatment.
Although Bandai Namco mentioned that they are currently focusing their attention on Tales of Symphonia Remastered, the idea of another sequel in the Tales of franchise receiving a remaster is not entirely out of the question.
Bandai Namco noted that they will currently be keeping an eye on feedback from Tales of Symphonia Remastered.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the fans of the Tales of franchise around the world for their passion and desire to play older Tales of games on newer platforms.
However, we are currently focusing on the release of Tales of Symphonia Remastered, but we look forward to the game’s reception and requests for future remasters.

Tales of Symphonia Remastered will be released on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on February 17, 2023.
